So, I don’t know if anyone else even cares, but I just wanted to say that I cannot believe that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are getting a divorce!!! I really thought that what they had was the real thing, the true love many of us spend our lives searching for. But I guess I was wrong. After announcing their split, Ashton decided to take some much needed time away from Tinseltown to hit up his hometown and get some good country air in his lungs to clear his head. Seems that he was swarmed by a LOT of single women in Iowa when he was there visiting.
I know a lot of people didn’t really think their relationship was going to work at the beginning because of the age difference, but it did work, and it worked well for a long time. Dating older women has become a really popular thing to do in the recent years, and he seems to have started the trend. It is just too bad that the mature singles that met and fell in love instantly didn’t or couldn’t make it work. The whole thing really seemed to come out of nowhere and I am interested to find out more details as to why this seemingly loving relationship ended.
Romancepros may be able to give Ashton some tips now that he is back in the singles scene, so maybe he will start following us on Twitter. I know that we love following him! Oh, and if you are reading this and you enjoy finding out about what is hot in romance, dating, online dating and relationships, you should follow us too!

So I have a girlfriend who I have decided is a complete online dating junkie. We are both single and agreed to go into the world of online dating together. So we both joined a couple of the free sites to get started. I preferred speeddate.com and she really liked spark.com. We had fun for a bit and then realized to get anywhere in the world of online dating, free was not the way to go. Paid memberships are where the real communication comes in when using these sites. Most free memberships have very limited communication options and mostly tend to leave a person feeling high and dry not to mention a little lonely. So we forged ahead, both agreeing to become members, paying members to two sites, just two!
Come to find out, my friend is actively searching for love on 14 sites!!! Yes, 14 online dating sites as a PAID MEMBER. I sat down with her to talk about how she got herself into this situation and whether or not it was all really necessary (not to mention the oodles of money she was spending on it all). She gave me a list of the sites she was using and it included a lot of the BIG ones like eharmony, match, and plentyoffish, but I was surprised to see some not so popular ones that made the cut. These ones included OKCupid, Mingle2, maturesinglesonly.com, and datehookup. So all in all, she was going overboard. If anyone wants to know anything about whether or not a site is good she would be a wonderful resource. I did tell her that I thought she was a little crazy and we may need to start a support group for people like her that are addicted to online dating.
Since realizing her obsession I have also realized my lack of desire when it comes to creating profiles, staying in touch with random singles, and keeping up my memberships so I guess it just depends on what type of person you are. For me, I would prefer to find love walking down the street, or sitting next to me in a cafe. I guess I am just a hopeless romantic. To each his own.
